Jay-Z & Kanye West – Watch the Throne album has been released on iTunes (the physical release of CD is set for August 12) today and without much of promotion other than few magazine interviews where they revealed that they were feuding, it is doing great on the charts worldwide.

According to early reports from Billboard the very anticipated duet album, “Watch The Throne,” that features 12 very futuristic hip hop songs including “H•A•M” and “Otis” and collaborators such as Beyonce, Swizz Beatz and The Neptunes is expected to sell somewhere between 400,000 to 500,000 units in the first week it was made available to fans.

The duo has another reason to celebrate – by doing the impossible – by preventing their collaboration from leaking on the internet – they are number one in 20 countries just hours after the official release of their CD.

To celebrate their great achievement Jay-Z and Kanye West has provided a full album of stream Watch the Throne to their supporters in order to seriously wet their appetite and push them to actually pick a normal or deluxe copy of the LP later this week.

Talk about unexpected collaborations.

Rappers Kanye West and Jay-Z have just unveiled their first single called Otis off their Watch The Throne album and it features non other than soul, gospel and rhythm and blues singer Otis Redding.

Using the classic song called “Try a Little Tenderness” that was initially recorded in 1932 by the Ray Noble Orchestra and reprised by Otis Redding in 1966 the duo goes on and on about their fortune, their fame, their big cars and having supermodels around.

The Otis Redding-sampled track is pretty smooth and was just what Jay-Z needed to reveal that he may just call the paparazzi on himself or for Mr West to state that seeing he is the only man to make Jesus Christ walk there is no way he will end up in hell.

Tyga Well Done 2 mixtape is now available for free.

Tyga who is currently promoting his upcoming sophomore CD “Careless World” that will be out later this year has decided to please his fans by dropping a new mixtape called Well Done 2 and has taking the opportunity to re-release his 2010 mixtape Well Done – but this time around the 15 tracks are in HQ and are sans screaming DJ’s on the background.

Thanks to an hour special that aired on the E! entertainment channel last night we got a closer look at Young Money superstar Nicki Minaj.

In the document Nicki Minaj whose full name is Onika Tanya Maraj shared childhood memories, allowed her parents to appear on camera and give more details about her past and her mentor Lil Wayne also made a cameo to explain the rapper’s rise to stardom.

Nicki Minaj who grew up in the Caribbean said she was never aware that she was poor. She said:

“Growing up in Trinidad, I didn’t know that we were poor, ten people living in a three-bedroom home and all the dogs and cats my grandmother had, none of the seemed really abnormal.”

The “Super Bass” singer’s father Robert Maraj, also shared few anecdotes about her daughter doing mischief:

“She used to steal the car all of the time. And she didn’t have her license yet.”

Rapper Lil B who is promoting his new controversial CD “I’m Gay (I’M Happy)” has unveiled a new track called “Trapped in Prison” that he apparently produced where he gets very conscious with his lyrics.

California emcee DOM Kennedy has unveiled the official track-listing for his 7th Mixtape called From The Westside With Love II that will be out on June 28th via iTunes.

DOM Kennedy whose real name is Dominic Hunn will be dropping 17 tracks mainly produced by The Futuristiks and K Roosevelt for his fans as the follow-up to The Original Dom Kennedy and From The Westside With Love that were released in 2010 and 2011 respectively.
